No dogs allowed
We start in the charming village of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, beside its 2 former droving inns, now popular rural pubs. After a short steep climb NE of the village, we head NW through firstly forest then fields along the Ceiriog valley. At Swch-cae-rhiw a steady climb takes us onto open moorland East of Pen-plaenau. After crossing the Ceiriog at a small bridge, the track heads E along the edge of woodland before turning SE over Bryn Du and then back to the village via the original lane.
