2 dogs allowed

This circular walk starts at Yeld Lane, Kelsall. Parking is at the car park in Yeld lane which should be fairly quiet on a Wednesday morning.

From the car park, we walk towards Delamere forest and then follow a short section of the Sandstone Trail, crossing the A54, to walk to Primrose Wood.

After walking through Primrose Wood, we cross fields towards Eddisbury, past Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre. After crossing the A54 again, we walk along Stony lane to join the Roman road until we turn off to walk up to Pale Heights. From Old Pale Hill (176m Height) there is a 360-degree view – on a clear day we will be able to see the Manchester sky line, Merseyside and the mountains of North Wales. The stone markers point the direction of 7 counties – Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire. Shropshire and Staffordshire in England and Denbighshire and Flintshire in North Wales.

We then head down the hill and back to the car park and drive the short distance to the Morris Dancer pub at approx. 13.00:
Fresh Food & Cask Ales – The Morris Dancer, Kelsall

Please let me know by Wednesday 29th January if you want to join for lunch and by Monday 3rd February if you want to join the walk.
