The route takes us along a quiet road through Utkinton village to our first footpath which leads us to the Sandstone Trail. There are some beautiful views of the Cheshire plain from this high path. Eventually we reach the road which passes through the village Fisher’s Green then past Utkinton Hall. This was the seat of the Done Family; a wealthy family who were once hereditary warders of Delamere Forest.
The final footpath climbs back up to up behind Rose Farm.
