Arnside

Arnside is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. If you take a walk to the top of Arnside Knott you will be rewarded with delightful views over the Kent estuary towards the Lakeland hills. The surrounding countryside offers many attractive walks and places to explore.

Green, Blue & Red

30 Sept – 3 Oct 2026

These four walking days are at a new location for us, the Parkside Guest House, Arnside, Cumbria.

Follow this link Parkside Guest House to read more about where you will be staying.

The cost per person for this holiday will be £260 for three nights including dinner, bed, breakfast and packed lunch. The food is wholesome with choices.

All the rooms are en-suite, have tea-making facilities and can be booked as single or double rooms with no single supplement.

Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape is an area we haven’t visited as a group before and is close to RSPB Leighton Moss (bring your binoculars).

We intend to offer Green, Blue and Red walks (we will probably need to drive to the start of the reds).

For those who don’t want to walk, Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall are nearby. Arnside station is a short walk from the property with trains to Grange over Sands and Cartmel to the north or Carnforth and Morecambe to the south.

Please join the OHWC Community Arnside Group to indicate an interest, and for further information about the event as it materialises.

The location of the Parkside Guest House is shown on the map below.
