Do not walk if you are feeling unwell. Carry your own hand sanitiser. In case of an emergency ensure you have with you a face mask and first aid pack.
Inevitably, the route will go through gates and over stiles that other people will have touched. It may have narrow sections that mean you will be passing close to other people.
A pleasant forest ramble, on good paths, passing by several of the Meres, where recently beaver have been introduced to the Cheshire countryside. Sightings not guaranteed, but we pass by the sanctuary at Hatchmere. We start NE out of the car park over Hart Hill, before turning NW towards Hatchmere. Passing anti-clockwise round Hatch Mere, we re-enter Delamere Forest, winding our way W towards Barnsbridge car park. The route continues in an anticlockwise loop further W into the forest, before turning N to join a section of the popular Blakemere Moss path back to the car park.
