2 dogs allowed
This circular walk starts at Gresty Waste car park on the A54. We travel N. into the outskirts of Delamere Forest before heading W. along the course of a Roman road. We make our way S. along Stoney Lane then we follow the footpath SW. past the gallops at Organsdale and enter Primrose Wood. Stony paths and tracks take us through the wood to a clearing where we will have our lunch. We carry on through the wood and emerge at Tirley Farm. Then we skirt Tirley Garth on minor roads and footpaths and finally re-enter Primrose Wood climbing up Primrose Hill before we drop down back to the car park.
NB there are some tricky wooden stiles. We cross A54 four times so care needs to be taken.
