This is a picturesque walk over varied terrain visiting two secluded lakes and the 6th century church at Llanrhychwyn.
Starting at Trefriw we head up the beautiful Crafnant valley on paths through the village, then passing waterfalls and through varied woodland we reach the northern end of LLyn Geirionydd. A rough track takes us over a rise to Llyn Crafnant which we circle on a good track. We then ascend steeply through woods bringing us over to the southern end of Llyn Geirionydd.

A long ascent over farmland leads to the ancient church from where we head back taking a route towards the river Conwy. This involves a very steep descent through woods which is likely to be slippery.
A 2 kilometre stroll brings us back to the car park.
