No dogs
Starting from the quarry in an easterly direction for about 500m before turning south to start the steady ascent on good paths to the summit of Moel Eilio providing good views towards Snowdon and beyond (in good weather).
We then descend in a south easterly direction to pass over Foel Gron and Foel Goch before the steep descent to a Bwlch Maesgwm. Our route then climbs to the second Marilyn, Moel Cynghorion before returning by the same path to Bwlch Maesgwm. The return route to the cars is mainly a direct descent towards Llanberis before turning in a north westerly direction to ascend back to the start.
