No dogs allowed
The walk starts and ends at the car park beside the Station House café on the Whitegate Way.
We head West along Whitegate way for the first Km, before turning north beside the fishing ponds, making our way towards Pettypool Woods.
Working clockwise through the woods, then back South again, we reach quiet lanes which we follow East to reach Foxwist Green. We leave the lane to follow more paths through meadow and farmland, rejoining the Whitegate Way a few hundred metres East of the car park.
If the weather should be uncomfortably hot, or otherwise grim, there is an opportunity to take a short cut back to the start point after approx. reducing the distance to around 8.5 Km.

Remember you are responsible for being properly equipped
Ensure you have the walk leader’s phone number in case of an emergency
If you become detached from the group STOP, call out; try contacting group by phone or text. If no contact return to the last place you were with the group. Wait 30 mins repeatedly trying to make contact. After 30 mins seek help and/or make your own way safely.
