2 dogs allowed

We start our walk from Royden County Park car park, working our way southward across Thurstaston Common, climbing to the top of the hill where we should be able to enjoy a panorama of the Dee Estuary and North Wales. Passing the Cottage Loaf pub we descend towards Thurstaston village where we follow a good path past Church Farm towards the Dungeon where we descend SW past the waterfall to join the Wirral Way. Now we continue on the well-established flat path NW, passing the visitor centre and cafe towards Caldy. Here we leave the Wirral Way and climb NE up to the top of Caldy Hill, then wind gradually SE through Stapledon Wood to join Telegraph Rd. After a short section on a wide pavement we cross to join a farm lane back towards Hillbark and Royden Park.
