I hope you have all been enjoying the lovely weather we have had in recent weeks.
Below is a quick outline and reminder of what is coming up in the coming months.
Our next big social event, the annual charity walk and social is not far off, in fact just 6 weeks away. The date set is Sunday 13th July. This year Sarah and Nigel have kindly agreed to host in their garden. They live in Tarporley and so the two walks planned will be nearby. Nearer the time I will contact you all again to find out who is hoping to come along so we can cater accordingly. As in previous years, all offers of salad, desserts etc would be very much appreciated.
Although several months off I have also made a provisional booking at Chez Jules again for our Christmas party. We thought the quality of food and service is difficult to beat and it is an easy venue to access. Taking on board comments made by members I have asked that we are seated upstairs.
And finally holidays!
14 members are off to Scotland tomorrow (2nd June) for a week. At the end of June 20 members are heading off to beautiful Selva in the Dolomites.
And finally in the Autumn a midweek trip up to Glaramara in the Lake District is being organised. It is for 3 nights from the 22nd to 24th of October.
